The problem in this study it is the reason why Prophet Khidr repeated his words -You will not patient with me - to prophet Moses, even though Moses was known as intelligent prophet. This research uses theory of ijaz and ithnab (brevity redundancy) science rhetoric. finds abbreviated word types extended types. a qualitative approach that descriptive through literature review. Researcher found there are sixteen sentences including by removing related sentences, five adjectives, one sentence letters, dispersed words, divine predicate, miracle delivering sentences. four researcher follows. First, expressive mentioning special after general serve emphasize specific Secondly, redundancy appendix bringing up second which similar first intends idea sentence. Third, verbosity use inclusion allowance explain previous yet clear. Fourth, repetition work persuade other person accept advice. ‘Abd’ because stupid, but Moses' spirit seeking knowledge allowing him continue searching for guidance ‘Abd’.Keywords: Advice, Repetition, Spirit.
